Bright green shiny leaves that resemble the body of a stingray emerge from elegant, tall zebra patterned stems. These plants are a cultivar of Alocasia macrorrhiza so they can get big!

Light: Part Sun to Full Shade - Category 2-4 (please see our blog on plant light requirements) *please note, these are grown in full shade and will need to be slowly acclimated to part sun.

Fertiliser: As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season (please see our blog on plant food)
Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings.
Maintenance: These plants are susceptible to spider mite so keep humidity up and treat with pest spray as a preventative at first signs of infestation. Keep warm over winter to slow down/stop dormancy. If they experience temperatures of less than 15 Degrees Celsius consistently they will go dormant in which watering should be kept to a minimum (about once a month) until new growth emerges in Spring.
