Hoya australis ssp. australis - Wax Vine Plant
Regular price $55.00This Hoya is a hardy species, native to Australia where it naturally grows on rocks and up trees on rainforest borders. Being an epiphyte, this Hoya prefers an airy, free draining potting mix and filtered light. The vines can grow up to 5m long and will wrap around anything the tip of the vine touches, its leaves are green with a red hue when sun stressed and have a felted, soft to touch texture. Given enough light this Hoya can bloom all year round with gorgeous clusters of creamy white flowers with a bright pink centre.
Please note these plants are very large and will be sent semi-bare root. They are hardy and epiphytic and are very tolerant of this.

We are now adding in 'Transport risk' in the product description as some plants are more delicate than others and/or find transport stressful. We will rate in terms of Low, Medium or High risk and discuss specifically to the plant in question. If this information is not provided yet please feel free to reach out via email to ask. Please also note that if plants are sent with new leaves that haven't had the chance to harden off they are susceptible to physical damage in transit as the slightest touch can cause it.
