Phlebodium aureum - Blue Star FernRegular price $16.00
Matte blue/grey multi-lobed leaves that are whitewashed for sun protection, given them an almost silver sheen. Hairy thick rhizomes are found on the surface of the soil when the plant matures. The pronged leaves of this fern can reach up to 40 cm, growing from thin tough stems, a very hardy and easy to care for fern. These ferns are epiphytes that can be found growing in tree limbs and root crevices so they prefer a nutrient rich, free draining mix that doesn't leave their roots and rhizomes soggy.
