Epipremnum

Epipremnums are a genus within the Araceae family. These evergreen, perennial vines will climb trees and other structures available with the help of their aerial roots. Epipremnums are native to tropical forests in Asia, Australia, and the western pacific and are a member of the tribe Monsteracea and often get confused with monstera’s, rhaphidophora, scindapsus and amydrium as they have similar growth habits. Much like other Monsteracea, Epipremnums can appear to be very different plants in their juvenile and mature forms, the main characteristic being the size of the leaf which dramatically increases as the plant matures and climbs.
