Ceropegia

Ceropegia is a genus of around 420 species of plants within the Apocynaceae family, sub-family Asclepiadoideae (milkweeds), native to Africa, Southern Asia and Australia.

Ceropegia's are usually long vining, trailing stems however there are a couple species that grow upright. plants in this family are often succulent in one form or another, some exhibit thick succulent stems and almost nonexistent leaves while others have thin stems growing from thick, tubers with fleshy succulent leaves.
