Aralia (Araliaceae)

Araliaceae, also known as the "Ginseng family" is a group of flowering plants which includes around 45 genera and 1500 species. In general, Araliaceae species have large leaves, usually containing aromatic oils and five-petaled flowers. The family is often woody but also occasionally herbaceous. Popular members of this family include Hedera Helix (English Ivy), Schefflera (Umbrella Tree) and Panax (Ginseng).
