The leaves are a glossy light green with thick dark green stripes that look hand-painted. The stunning leaves in this genera have earnt the name Peacock plant as its all about the leaves for these showy plants. A member of the "Prayer Plant" family - distinctively the leaves open in the day to the sun and close up at night, a slow but beautiful daily dance that the leaves perform every day.

INTERNATIONAL POST

We don't post internationally as exporting plants is difficult to do from Australia but some businesses do offer this service. You can buy from us and get your order shipped directly to them. They then can organise exportation to you. You can organise this through the following website (prior to purchase): https://monstera.com.au/plant-export-service/.

All plants pictured are considered an accurate representation of the plant you will receive. It represents the rough size, colour and condition. These are plants however and due to changes in climatic conditions and plant variation there will be minor differences and seasonal changes.

We are now adding in 'Transport risk' in the product description as some plants are more delicate than others and/or find transport stressful. We will rate in terms of Low, Medium or High risk and discuss specifically to the plant in question. If this information is not provided yet please feel free to reach out via email to ask. Please also note that if plants are sent with new leaves that haven't had the chance to harden off they are susceptible to physical damage in transit as the slightest touch can cause it.

Please note that we use 'Bugs for Bugs' regularly as a preventative control measure for pests. These predatory bugs are administered in vermiculite. This vermiculite is sprinkles onto the leaves and sometimes remains.

We know that sometimes it's hard to get an idea of the size of the plant your are purchasing. Photos can make plants look bigger than they actually are. That's why we've made it easy. In each listing you will notice a photo with a background with lines drawn. These lines are distanced 5cm away from each other and the photographs are taken straight on with products against the wall. These photos will be the best indicator of size.
