Very slow growing but striking velvet leaf Aglaonema with distinct camouflage markings on the leaves. Its leaves are oval to elliptic and longer than wide and it has thick woody stems. Aglaonema pictum grows in low light conditions in the understory of very humid tropical forests on the elevated slopes of volcanos in Sumatra.

Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings. Aglaonemas have a fairly shallow root system and don't like over watering.
Maintenance: low-med. The leaves of this plant will burn in direct sunlight but since it is variegated it needs bright but indirect light to thrive and maintain its beautiful variegation.
