The name Iresene is derived from the Greek word 'erios' meaning 'wooly', referring to it tiny trichome or "hair" covered flowers. Planted in a partly shaded area outside this plant will become a bushy shrub, as an indoor potted plant it is vibrantly coloured leafy bush.

Watering: Don't over water, whilst not letting the plant dry out completely. Let it dry to 80% before watering again.
Maintenance: Pinch new growth to maintain compact, bushy shape and promote new growth.
