Christia obcordata are a great addition to your garden for creating colour contrast. Otherwise known as a 'Butterfly Plant', they have striking red and green striped leaves which are triangular in shape resembling their namesake. They grow in an upright manner and as they mature will grow multiple stems which make them bushier. They prefer full sun and only keep the red markings in this aspect. They don't like winter and will suffer if grown in temps lower than 15°C.
