A hybrid between Alocasia longiloba x Alocasia sanderiana this plant has shiny dark green leaves that are highly contrasted by thick light green - almost white - veining on the leaf, the underside of the leaves is a bold, deep red tone. This is the full size Amazonica not the dwarf.

Fertiliser:As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season (please see our blog on plant food)
Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings.
Maintenance: Keep warm over winter to slow down/stop dormancy. If they experience temperatures of less than 15 Degrees Celsius consistently they will go dormant in which watering should be kept to a minimum (about once a month) until new growth emerges in Spring. If kept indoors wipe leaves of dirt and rotate regularly to keep upright.
