A cultivar variant of Alocasia zebrina, Alocasia Tigrina has long, narrow, leathery green leaves with a light to dark pattern that is bold on new growth and fades as the leaves mature. The stems have a distinct 'zebra stripe' patterning from corm to leaf, considered to be more distinct that Alocasia zebrina.

Fertiliser: As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season (please see our blog on plant food)
Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings.
Maintenance: Can be prone to spider mite so keep the leaves clean, we reccomend Dr Greenthumbs Greenspace Reset as a preventative. Keep warm over winter to slow down/stop dormancy. If they experience temperatures of less than 15 Degrees Celsius consistently they will go dormant in which watering should be kept to a minimum (about once a month) until new growth emerges in Spring.
