A rare jewel Alocasia from Sarawak (Borneo) that has only been cultivated recently. It is a compact growing Alocasia, the leaves are dark, almost black in colour, with metallic purple veins and an iridescent leaf sheen.

Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings.
Maintenance: Keep warm over winter to slow down/stop dormancy. If they experience temperatures less than 15 Degrees Celsius consistently they will go dormant in which watering should be kept to a minimum (about once a month) until new growth emerges in Spring.
